Slow Cooker Teriyaki Beef


  • 2.5 - 3 lbs top round roast, grass fed, organic beef - I use Beaver Brook Ranch

  • 2 yellow onions, sliced thinly

  • 2 bell peppers, sliced thinly

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup beef broth

  • 1/2 cup coconut aminos

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1/4 cup raw, organic honey

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced ginger

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil


  • Turn slow cooker on to 'high' setting.

  • Add onions, garlic, peppers to the bottom.

  • Add beef.

  • Whisk together rest of the ingredients and add to slow cooker, during over the beef.

  • Add all the ingredients in crockpot.

  • Cover and cook for 6 hours, occasionally mixing if possible.

  • Shred and serve over rice or cauliflower rice.
