Slow Cooker Shredded BBQ Chicken

Ingredients for Shredded Chicken:

  • 4 whole chicken breasts (about 4-6 oz each) - can swap in 6 chicken thighs

  • 4 cups chicken bone broth

  • 1/2 cup monkfruit sugar

  • 2 tablespoons paprika

  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  • 1 tablespoon pink salt

  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder

  • 1 tsp pink salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper* optional - will add spice!


  • Mix spices together.

  • Add raw chicken, broth, and spices to slow cooker.

  • Cook for 6 hours on low , mixing every 1 hour as you are able.

  • Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken.

  • Eat with a side baked potato and cole slaw or salad.
